Morgan Stanley S&P 500 Crude Oil Linked ETN
The Morgan Stanley S&P 500 Crude Oil Linked ETN is based on the performance of the S&P 500 Oil Hedged Index, which seeks to simulate the combined returns of an investment of equal U.S. dollar amounts in (a) the S&P 500 Total Return Index and (b) long positions in near-term exchange-traded NYMEX Crude Oil and ICE Brent Crude Oil futures contracts, as further described herein. The equal weighting of the Equity Index and the Oil Futures in the Index provides exposure to both large-cap equities and the price of crude oil.

Investment type: ETN (Exchange-Traded Note); listed on the U.S. NYSE exchange

(Note that ETNs, unlike ETFs, are subject to risk if the issuing bank has its credit rating lowered or enters bankruptcy.)

Ticker symbol: BARL
