iPath Short Enhanced MSCI Emerging Markets Index ETN is linked to a leveraged return on the inverse performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Net Total Return Index, a free float-adjusted market capitalization index that is designed to offer a representation of equity market performance of emerging markets. As of October 29, 2010 the Index consisted of the following 21 emerging market country indices: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey.
