The Ophthalmology Index invests in healthcare, life sciences and/or biotechnology companies that have been identified as ophthalmology companies. Companies included in the Ophthalmology Index are engaged in the research, clinical development and/or commercialization of therapeutic agents by means of pharmaceuticals, medical devices or biomaterials for the treatment of various diseases of the eye including, but not limited to, age-related macular degeneration, dry-eye, diabetic macular edema, glaucoma, presbyopia and myopia.
