HHZ seeks to provide investment results generally equivalent to the performance of HealthShares Ophthalmology Index, an equity index of publicly traded common stocks and ADRs. The Ophthalmology Index invests in healthcare, life sciences and/or biotechnology companies that have been identified as ophthalmology companies. Companies included in the Ophthalmology Index are engaged in the research, clinical development and/or commercialization of therapeutic agents by means of pharmaceuticals, medical devices or biomaterials for the treatment of various diseases of the eye including, but not limited to, age-related macular degeneration, dry-eye, diabetic macular edema, glaucoma, presbyopia and myopia.|
