The Technology Bear 3X Shares seeks daily investment results of 300% of the inverse (opposite) of the price performance of the Russell 1000 Technology Index. This index is a capitalization weighted index of companies that serve the electronics and computer industries or that manufacture products based on the latest applied science. The index currently has 105 components, derived from the Russell 1000, with an average market capitalization of over $19 billion dollars and a median market capitalization of $6.1 billion dollars as of April 30, 2008.
