The iPath Long Enhanced S&P 500 VIX Mid-Term Futures ETN is linked to a leveraged return on the performance of the S&P 500 VIX Mid-Term Futures Index TR, which is designed to provide access to equity market volatility through CBOE Volatility Index ("VIX Index") futures. Specifically, the S&P 500 VIX Mid-Term Futures Index TR offers exposure to a daily rolling long position in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th month VIX futures contracts and reflects the implied volatility of the S&P 500 Index at various points along the volatility forward curve.
