The iShares U.S. IG Corporate Bond CAD-Hedged Index Fund seeks to provide income by reproducing the performance of an index which is a diversified representation of the USD-denominated investment grade corporate bond market. The fund will hedge any resulting U.S. dollar exposure to Canadian dollars. Currently, the fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Index.
