The PowerShares S&P SmallCap Health Care Portfolio is based on the S&P SmallCap 600 Capped Health Care Index. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in the common stocks comprising the Index. The Index is designed to measure the overall performance of companies in the health care sector. Included are health care companies principally engaged in the business of providing healthcare-related products and services, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and medical facilities.
