The iShares S&P/TSX North American Preferred Stock Index Fund seeks to provide income by reproducing the performance of the S&P/TSX North American Preferred Stock Canadian Dollar Hedged Index. The investment strategy is to invest in a regularly rebalanced portfolio of preferred shares, as well as 1 or more iShares ETFs, that in aggregate closely match the characteristics of the Preferred Index. The fund will hedge any resulting U.S. dollar exposure to Canadian dollars.
